Before our session

We will talk either by email or phone (whichever you prefer). I want to get to know you, your pet, and your family. I want to fall in love with your pet (pretty easy for me) so that connection shows through in the photos. We will decide where our session will take place. I prefer to shoot outside in nature, the light is better, the air is fresh, and it's where dogs can do their doggie thing and be themselves; but it goes without saying that we will adjust our plans to make elderly and sick pets as comfortable as possible.

Day of

The day of our session we will meet and I will let your dog get comfortable with me and the camera before we start. We will wander around in search of the best light. We will let your dog lead the way. Outside is where they can run, play, get dirty, be silly, and be themselves. We will try our best to get all of your must have shoots, but dogs sometimes have other plans! There is no script or forced poses. We will explore the world through the eyes of your dog. Be sure to expect lots of laughing and fun as we capture the moments that we wish could last forever. You are more than welcome to join in on the session. In fact, those are my favorite photos to take!

After

I know it's hard to wait, but 2-3 weeks after our session, I will upload your finalized images to a private online gallery. Depending on your collection choice, you will be able to download the images and select which ones you would like printed. Don't worry, if you need help, we can chat over the phone or meet up in person and discuss the options. I can assist in making the decisions on which product and size would look best for each image. I will even help you figure out where in your home would be best to display your new favorite photos! My wish is that you don't just leave the images on your computer and forget about them.  By printing your photographs, you can see them everyday and smile!
